Hi my name is Annika Weertz (*1991). I am a freelance portrait and still life photographer & creative conceptor based in Germany. I am a self-taught photographer with a background in history, journalism and technical editing.
I work for and with magazines, brands, agencies, companies, cultural institutions, newspapers and other artists in and out of Germany and enjoy telling stories through photographs.
I am also committed to personal, long-term projects that explore the themes of memory, identity, and the ways our relationships shift during our lives, how friendships, family and death shape who we are. My personal work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions in Germany, the UK, and the USA.
I am a member of VG-Bildkunst, the Fotobus Society and the Female Photoclub.
Currently based between Cologne and Hanover and open to work everywhere.
