ABOUT
Annika Weertz (1991) hat ihre Kindheit und Jugend zwischen Pferden, Hunden, Katzen und Hühnern in Nordrhein-Westfalen verbracht und lebt in Hannover. Sie arbeitet als Portrait- und Editorialfotografin innerhalb und außerhalb von Deutschland. In ihrer freien Arbeit vereint sie Portrait und Erzählung und widmet sich der Darstellung von Identitäten, Beziehungen, Raum und Atmosphäre in Form der Serie oder dem fotografischen Essay.

Annika Weertz (1991) grew up in the country side of North-Rhine Westphalia and now lives in Hanover, Germany. She works as an editorial and portrait photographer in and outside of Germany. In her personal work, she combines portraiture and story telling in order to tackle questions of identity, relationships, space and atmosphere. Annika prefers to tell stories in series or photographic essays.
