ABOUT

Annika Weertz is an artist and photographer based in Germany working for national and international clients across editorial, fashion and portrait photography. 

Her work is grounded in close observation of people, spaces and everyday situations. Rather than imposing a fixed aesthetic, she approaches her subjects through proximity and attention, allowing ambiguity, intimacy and contradiction to remain visible. Her images create a sense of presence that reflects the trust and connection between photographer and subject. 

Commercial clients appreciate her artistic approach and her unadulterated and emotional expression. She develops and produces visual languages, moving images and creative concepts for brands and labels.

Her personal work follows an autobiographical approach, assembling fragments of her lived reality into narratives that explore universal emotions and shared human experiences.
Her work has been exhibited in Germany, the UK and the US.
